An incredibly wide range of tools lets you create exquisite stitch effects that unleash your creativity. An unlimited number of stitch types can be applied to a single segment for the ultimate design flexibility. Produce rich and detailed effects with the Complex Fill tool. Choose from a variety of Standard, Programmed and Carved Fill patterns. Blend different Carved Fill patterns using the Region Carving tool. Carve lines into a Carved Fill segment with the Line Carving tool. Create unique linear effects with Programmed Runs and Programmed Fills while keeping the stitch count low. Make your own Programmed Fill patterns to create original borders and Fills for a unique look. Use Contour stitches to create stitch effects ideal for leaves and flower petals. Use the Graduated Density feature to vary the stitch density across the Satin and Fill segments, creating a 3 dimensional effect. While Pulse Signature by Pulse automatically controls stitch quality, it also allows for customization. Fine tune stitch quality using the Quality Control property page. You can change settings such as the minimum and maximum stitch length; split type for each segment or stitch type to meet your needs.
Customize A Productive Work Environment
Locate tools quickly using the Tool Cabinet. Customize your workspace by arranging the tools in the Tool Cabinet drawers or create your own drawers in which to place the tools you use most often. Use Recipes and Styles to quickly apply exactly the right combination of embroidery settings to a design. Recipes are a collection of embroidery settings designed for specific fabrics. You can use these commonly needed settings again and again or create your own. Once you save a group of settings as a Style, it is added to the list of available Recipes for repeated use. Assign a keyboard shortcut to each Style you create and make the application of those settings to a design even quicker.
View Designs With Advanced Tools
Pulse Signature by Pulse’s viewing features help you work with designs faster and more easily. Sequence View displays color-coded segment sequences and stitch types. Cut and Paste a segment to resequence the design. Check the sewing sequence of a Stitch file by using the graphical Layer tabs. Change the sequence of layers and eliminate unnecessary color changes by clicking and dragging a layer tab to a new location in the sequence. To focus on specific layers or areas of a design, simply hide the other layers with a click of the mouse. Command Editor displays a list of machine commands for quick editing. The 3D Stitches feature gives you a realistic view of the sewn design on the fabric of your choice.

Pulse Signature by Pulse provides a wide range of editing tools, from stitch-by-stitch editing to dynamic Outline editing. Fine tune your design stitch by stitch or edit a group of stitches. You can use the shortcut editing menu to Move, Delete, and Insert stitches with ease. Add color changes, trims, and other machine commands too. Use the power of outline editing to Reshape, Stretch, Reflect, Move and Duplicate segments. Use Power Copy and Power Move to perform multiple tasks, such as Resize, Rotate and Flip, in one easy step. With fast access to the property pages, you can modify various stitch properties such as density, stitch type, thread color, pull compensation and underlay styles for any segment.

Create unique lettering using Pulse Signature by Pulse’s advanced Text tool. Using various drawing modes such as Bezier, Straight, Arc and Circle, draw a baseline and the lettering is placed along it. Apply any stitch type to a Path segment to create unique stitch effects. Quickly change the exit point, entry point, or stitch direction by sliding or adding beads along the segment. Delete, Add, Split and Join anchor points to modify Path segments any way you want. With complex designs, you can slice artwork to simplify complex shapes. Use Paths to free your imagination and create beautiful artistic embroidery designs.
Import vector artwork directly from graphic programs, eliminating the need to digitize the image. Apply any stitch type to a segment and quickly transform original artwork into embroidery. Import TrueType™ fonts and assign a stitch type in a single step. Segment types include Satin, Complex Fill, Run and more.
Scan images or import more than 20 image format types such as TIFF and BMP to use for digitizing. Autotrace images for digitizing and generate stitches in one easy step adjustable color tolerance, hole recognition, and support for Bezier curves produce accurate results.
Branching lets you digitize multiple Satin, Steil or Run segments that are sequenced with minimal jumps and have one start and one stop point on the closest connecting columns. Branched segments are combined to behave as one large segment. You can use branching with the Column, Enhanced Column, Satin Path, Steil, Run, Import Artwork, and Import TrueType tools. DDI (Dynamic Density Inset)

Maestro handles Steil segment corners perfectly. The Automatic Cornering feature gives you various corner styles to choose from, or it can automatically determine the best cornering style for Steil segments. Adjust the steil angle to modify the stitch direction for high quality Steil borders. Choose corner styles such as Mitered, Beveled and Round to finish polished designs.
Maestro offers many cornering styles for Satin and Tatami stitches. Choose from Standard, Auto-turn, Mitered, Hand-Sewn and Capped to create the look you want.
Maestro gives you the ability to make your own fonts. Digitize characters and compile them with Font Editor. By importing TrueType fonts and vector artwork you have unlimited resources for creating original fonts. Advanced viewing features
Sequence View displays a color-coded segment sequence and stitch types, giving you quick access to the property page of a specific segment. Cut and Paste a segment to resequence the design.

Integration with Passport Librarian
Passport Librarian is an advanced Design Management and Networking system. Passport Librarian integrates seamlessly with Maestro. Librarian Single User, which is standard with Maestro, allows you to categorize designs by design type, stitch count, customer and more. With optional Librarian Multi-User, Maestro enables you to access, save and search for designs from various locations over a network on a central database.
