Powerful customizing and digitizing features open up unlimited possibilities. Combine designs and reshape them as you please Reshape objects: objects can be reshaped to create new shapes. Select, edit, and resize individual objects.  Resize designs with a click of the mouse. The program will automatically update all stitch counts to maintain textures and stitching density Rotate, mirror and skew designs for limitless variations.

Select character for alphabets: This is a great new feature that allows you to “see-n-select” on screen all the characters and symbols included in each
alphabet style. It is also great for foreign languages/symbols.
Create monograms
Create special effects with Elastic Lettering (arching, pennants, bridging, etc.). You can also skew lettering and manipulate it on any shape baseline from a
choice of 6 baselines
New multiple baselines: automatically arch clockwise, counter clockwise and straight in the middle baselines can be all done at

Automatic and Manual kerning (letter spacing) allow you to add lettering in just the right way, including “Closest Join Script Alphabets” to prevent the
need to eliminate thread clips between letters

Work with real thread colors: assign real thread colors from 26 thread charts to your design. You can also assign colors from thread charts from several brands
of machines and edit the appearance of the colors on screen with the new and easier “thread chart” dialog box. You can create your own thread charts and search by color number or thread name in the many thread charts available for quick access to specific threads.

Bernina’s exclusive high resolution ARTISTIC VIEW allows you to preview your design. Combined with real thread colors, it provides a true preview of your design
Bernina’s exclusive Artistic View allows you to preview your design “in real stitches”. You can see the thread as well as the different textures created by the different fill patterns. This “true-to-life” preview mode allows you to proof y our design without having to sew out a test run. You can even view it on a Fabric Background using the pre-installed fabrics, create your own background fabric or scan the fabric you intend to use. A big time saver (not to mention a big thr ead saver!).
Polygon Select of Objects: This is a type of “any-shape” selecting tool. It will allow you to select objects that cannot be completely contained within a box, as in v2.
Group and ungroup objects for easier manipulation, plus a new “on-screen icon”
Control overlay and underlay stitching, including a zigzag underlay stitch with the ability to change the stitch length for greater stability
